It really highlights that these dickheads are really just low IQ mental midgets because their entire view on "fixing" offenders relies on pseudoscientific handwavery. They all Trust The Science (tm) and honestly believe that "therapy" and "programs" and "support" and all these other stupid nonsense euphemisms for what amounts to socially acceptable adult baby fetishism will actually solve society's ills.

They are true believers of this miraculous process of "social work" where you can subject a person to government-regulated, tax-funded sorcery and have them reborn as an upstanding model citizen. Try asking them what exactly "support" looks like for violent criminals, what mechanism of "care" actually occurs to prompt a change in behaviour.

I think most of these dumbasses just don't understand that, for one thing, the medical system as a whole is a huge sham, where even common ailments are routinely misdiagnosed, internal medicine is fraught with malpractice, and basic surgeries can and do go wrong (or at least fail to achieve a goal) at an alarming rate. And mental health care is even fucking worse. It's a gamble at best, nearly always a waste of money, and at worst can inflame a person's mental health crisis.

And that's before we even get to the race angle of violent offenders. Trying to apply the already borderline bunk science of psychology to a bottom rung member of a borderline retarded racial cohort is beyond futile and the insistence that "more social workers and mental health care professionals" are going to stop violent niggers preying on those who relax around blacks is pathologically fucking stupid.

These people live in a cartoon universe where the frontline nurses and practitioners and support workers and all these other lavishly praised professions full of single mothers and fat lesbians can just cure troubled youth or methed out lunatics with a wave of their hand.
