Maybe I'm missing something @alex and @coolboymew , Dolphin is so much better than this why again? https://redream.io/

Never mind I figured it out

@olmitch @alex always check gametech wiki first my dude

@olmitch @coolboymew Yeah, FOSS. Dolphin is also awesome because it does so much while being so easy to use. Top tier emulator UX. You can play GameCube or Wii. You can connect a Wiimote, and Dolphin supports it automatically. You can use a Wii sensor bar and point the Wiimote at the screen. The official GameCube USB adapter has special support and works automatically. Setting are easy to navigate and use. It's one of the best emulators around.

@alex @olmitch read the writeup on some obscure ass function that pretty much just Factor 5 used for like a single game

@alex @coolboymew @olmitch dolphin is a gold standard but i really dislike how they deprecated jack support for... cubeb, which broke for some reason or another after an update, dunno why the hell. i need to maintain a patchset for direct linking to libjack

@alex @coolboymew @olmitch iirc they had a solid reason for avoiding OpenAL due to the api not fitting the use case for hardware audio emulation and adding latency/inaccuracy, otherwise i'd prefer that over cubeb
