     @coolboymew@shitposter.club I remember ppl cooming over netflix castlevania when it first came out but hype went really silent. I thought they just never made a sequel but apparently they released 2 more seasons so I knew they shat the bed.

     Then it escalated, got worse in the process, and you eventually got Alucard having gay sex
     
     Now supposedly they're "adapting" Rondo of Blood and it has fuck all to do with it. Race swapped a character to make her a black ex-slave that apparently got preachy about it and Dracula is nowhere to be seen

     S1 was shit, but by Western standards? It was awesome dude, it seemed like a genuinely pretty and possibly interesting show (it turned out just like everything else womp womp)
