Thinkign about art again

@WoodshopHandman @Turkleton
>all art is dying
I absolutely do not agree with this take at all. Do you mean purely traditional artistic methods?

@WoodshopHandman Sculpture is dead too just saying

@Turkleton All art is dying. Nobody wants to take the time to learn and get good at it. I just watched a Clickspring video on engraving and he said he probably did about 200 hours worth of sketching practice before he put any kind of remotely serious effort into learning engraving itself. Nobody who has time for that wants to spend their time doing that. Society is too hooked on dopamine for low time preference learning.

So on one side you have a bunch of queers that financially support art but want to make it as gay and retarded as possible and another side that doesn't necessarily want art to be fagged up but refuses to shell out the money to get what they want. I wonder why one side is winning here.

I think that art is inherently inefficient, and I think that's the biggest reason why right-wingers take such an anti-art stance in this big gay culture war. Art is expensive and it takes time. Why bother having public buildings that look better if it means more taxpayer dollars have to fund their construction? etc.
