   I have a theory about this: people share the "outrage porn" because when you are connected to people in real life, normies are doing everything they can to not look at how bad things are. Everyone is lying to themselves and thinking if they don't notice, the problem goes away. For anyone that sees how bad things are and has talked about it, and people are just dismissive "surely things aren't THAT bad", sharing the "outrage porn" is how they keep from being sucked into the current. It's how people online remember what time it is and keep themselves calibrated.

     I simply don't get frustrated at dissident people for being politically frazzled online. Something would be wrong if they acted like normies.

     @idea_enjoyer I think you feel like I am attacking you but I only say these things because I truly do care. You've got an extremely finite amount of time on this earth and being miserable without gaining anything from it is not how I want those around me to spend their time. I genuinely don't want you guys to be on your death bed someday thinking "Damn, I really wish I did literally anything else than staring at a screen getting mad about retarded gay shit so much".
