     years old bug which only has been discovered quite recently isnt a new thing

     the infamous Shellshock bugs were first introduced way back in 1989, only to be discovered in 2014

     Also, be wary of .jfifs too, twitter recently began converting every image upload to that as well.
     
     Time to do some data self-care this weekend.

     @lapin @SuccuCirno Twitter users have reported an issue where JPG images are saved as JFIF, which is an image format for exchanging JPEG encoded files. JFIF files should open normally in all popular image editors, and if they don’t, users can rename them from.jfif to.jpg. This issue has started happening due to Windows 10 Creators Update.

     I guess it’s because you didn’t get the Windows 10 Creators Update.
