Found in nixos room on matrix:
Hello. I have read/write overwritten a disk and didn't partition it and now when I boot I get an error for that disk because it can't be mounted and I am dropped into maintenance mode without network. I am using Flakes and HomeManager and I no longer use the /etc/nixos/configuration.nix to manage my NixOS install. I have disabled the disk in the /home/tom/.dotfiles/hardware-configuration.nix but I am unsure about how to build a new nix version because I have no network. What do I do? Can I get NixOS to boot without the disk?
