   Microsoft says you can’t activate Windows 10/11 with old Windows 7/8 keys anymore

   Keys still seem to work in current Windows installs, but that may be ending.

     Or switch to Linux and never worry about serial keys or product activation, every again.

     I play and work with Linux.
