     You've completely lost me. I boosted this because while I generally oppose the M5M narrative on Ukraine, I thought it was only fair to give support to those who seem to recognize there are bad guys on all sides of this. That message imo is in line with the Minsk agreements, some version of which needs to be agreed to if this conflict can ever be somewhat resolved.

     They oppose fascism by painting Putin as Hitler? Your understanding of history is confusing at best. I'm sure not every German during the ww2 was a nazi. Some of them opposed it.

     Very confusing to see Ukrainians who were nazis try to paint Russians to be nazis. From the historical perspective this is confusing AF. It's like German art depicting Jews to be nazis.

     I didn't see this as a pro-govt banner, but a statement from Ukrainians who oppose all fascism. My understanding about Maidan is that lots of groups opposed the govt that had been in power, and not everyone is happy with who took power then or Zelensky now. Many who elected him wanted peace in the Donbas and Russia-EU neutrality. A similar dynamic played out in Iran in 1979. There were non religious pro-democracy groups involved then. It's never simple.

     Not just Russians stopped the Nazis. People from all Soviet states including Ukraine were pressed into service for that job. Ethnic Russians were mostly officers and barrier troops.

     but you're grouping everybody together, and I am pushing back against that. the Soviets weren't good guys. Putin isn't a good guy. we are not good guys. nobody is "here", except probably the millions of Russians who stopped the Nazis and mostly didn't care about communism or capitalism. we need to look at the current conflict with nuance.

     yes melding Putin and Hitler is dumb and unnecessary.
