@rbreich What do you say to humans like me that the entire school system failed? With systematic bullying run by the faculty? It was clearly authorized. After all who you gonna blame? The kid weigh webbed fingers or all the kids attacking him?

Of course the kid with the webbed fingers right? Duh!

We got bigger issues here Robert. We need to solve these issues. To make it to where there’s accountability and sanity.

I was the kid that did everything possible to get expelled once I realized it worked. I refused to do classwork or do anything for that matter. School failed me, as it did many. It was public abuse.

That’s not gonna win you many supporters among people like me. As far as that goes? My parents taught me to read, do math and I had my things I liked. Enabled me with computers that lead me to write code today. Not one step did school help me with any of this.

I always hear these battle cries and I’m as liberal as they come. Let’s fix the real problems first? Performance reviews by students for teachers would be a good start. Independent board reviews that and makes recommendations to the school board. Allegations of abuse immediately investigated by the police. Especially if the kid has a deformity.

How about we fix the real problems? Instead of saying how great it is all the time and how it helps. My wife is not any different either. She has a book where she was called a retard by who would become the county commissioner. All as she had a deformity too and refused to interact with people.

No different than me, put me and her in different states in special Ed to resolve it right? Like this can’t just be coincidence. Even happened in Hawaii to a friend of mine with a different hand deformity.

Or is this all about people who are normal and not kids like the above listed? We are just supposed to take intolerance.

Let’s boil it harder shall we? What about kids who’s mom are in domestic abuse and end up murdered? Does the school system let them fail? Yeah I got experience with that too.

We got more serious problems than religious indoctrination. Since antiquity we’ve done the religious indoctrination. That’s not going to change except through equitable education that doesn’t alienate people like me, my wife and my friends who are not “standard”.

Fun times, guaranteed too? You spend 5 mins with me? You’re gonna see I’m one of the smartest people you’ll meet. So it’s not like I’m stupid.

Almost forgot Raymond the kid with the stutter in my class who took part of the bullying brunt from me. Thanks Raymond, you didn’t deserve it but you were a good backup meat shield.

I don’t expect a response, never gotten one in my life from anyone like you. But that’s generally as this is too hard to solve. But doesn’t that make people like me feel abandoned and left out?

How about you? Relentlessly harassed over height no doubt. I bet that was shit? How come you never fight for the little guy? You the different one? Like my wife and I? After all my wife is shorter than you. She knows.

Google delivers, with instant results what the priority is. Why does it even matter how tall your wife is? This is the world you are defending. That is still abusive as per google search. The most important part is your height. Not what you actually did.

Inequality isn’t just money my dude. It’s full scope. Just to be clear I agree with you on quite a number of things and I do think public school serves a function. However we need to stop letting kids fail for things beyond their control. I didn’t chose the webbed life the webbed life chose me.
