YouTube's algorithm appears to be increasingly steering users toward engaging with local politics. Maybe it recognizes the importance of civic participation and community involvement. I would be curious as to what they are discussing in those meeting to see if perhaps there are any underlying factors. People have often accused youtube's algorithm of trying to influence peoples politics.
