When I think about it, I'm surprised I didn't become an anti or some shit as a kid.
I took my first bit of social skills from video games and anime (4kids at the time), but I never blamed my social skills on fictional media.
I didn't blame myself either for the lack of it, and when tumblr back in the day was trying to push for media that's socially appropriate, I had the option to blame video games and anime and stuff for being retarded.
But I never actually did.
Maybe it was because I wasn't concerned with making friends back then, so whether or not video games did do that, was irrelevant to me?
...actually, that's probably the reason why.
I can imagine myself looking at others crying about how their favorite anime told them to flip up the skirt of some girl they liked to garner their favor online, then laughing at them, because the proper way to make friends is the dating sim "give 'em a fuckton of gifts tailored to them each day," which wasn't worth doing because everyone was beneath me and no one was worth investing anything in, and friends were for pussies.

@ninja8tyu it's called being mentally stable
-
@luithe does that mean i was more mentally stable as a bratty kid than a socially tuned young adult?
-
@ninja8tyu yes

@LodedDiaper @ehhh i wouldn't call them real trolls at that point
to me, a troll is someone who infuriates those who shouldn't be, under common sense and/or moral sense, through basic "civil disobedience" such as pissing off antis with memes such as these
some may call these memes "liability posting" but that word and sentiment came from a faggot defending pedogal and were apart of several pedoring networks, so don't care lol
but these used to be funny, and not something twitter would ban you for because it takes jokes seriously
and people now think others' offense is a moral one, so there's no longer a point people can extrapolate from it
especially since even the most edgelord "i don't need friends" has turned into a simp for someone at some point these days, and i highly doubt i'm going to find anyone close who isn't a piece of shit at heart
-
@ninja8tyu That's not surprising, if you avoided making friends you most likely avoided normies.
-
@ehhh i probably wouldn't have made friends with them if i did meet them
i would've constantly fucked with them
i used to be an internet troll for a reason
i absolutely loved pissing off people who were easily pissed off in the most fitting way
people consider them nothing but assholes who like to incite stuff for their won amusement, but there used to be a philosophy behind it

@ninja8tyu @ehhh I think after a certain point, the goal became "clout" over fun. Instead of Liquid Chris you get attention whores like the "watchmen" who gatekept others from trolling Chris-Chan like it was some honorable position that only they were allowed to have.
