   'big book of cyberpunk' begins with a warning that while cyberpunk is super inclusive, some of the stories will be contain 'problematic' content because it's not up to current year standards. The introduction then ends on a complaint that the 'space race' is now done by 'egocentric billionaires farting radioactive garbage'. Not an auspicious beginning, but the stories are what matters. The selection is very diverse, which can be good or bad, but I'm happy to see some japanese and arabic stories in here.

     @s8n yeah, i'd expect all kinds of non-baseline humans in cyberpunk stories, i just hope the stories aren't gonna be on-the-nose 'wow this evil cyberguy is just like trump/musk'

     @lain transmetropolitan predicted the trump and biden elections and both characters (the Beast and the Smiler) were pretty prominent characters in the story, worth a read if you haven't
