@jonben @prosaluxemburg @samuel As a Turk who cannot go back to Turkey because I “insulted” Erdoğan and his autocratic regime, it lets me know we have allies and, having lived several years in Sweden, it’s actually nice to see that not all Swedes cower behind “Swedish neutrality” and that some even have the guts to actually take a stand when it matters. So, yes, it works for me.

@jonben Yeah, I have zero desire to see him or anyone else hang. A nonviolent democratic handover of power with fair elections would be nice. But, somehow, I don’t see that happening (but I do see more political rivals, Kurds, journalists, teachers, etc., being sent to prison as he cements his autocracy even futher). This is something I hope with all my heart to be proven wrong about.
