     Depending on how tech savvy you are, the easiest thing is to buy a computer with Linux preinstalled like the ones sold by StarLab, etc.

     Otherwise pick a distribution (flavour), download it, create a bootable USB stick, and boot from there. I’d recommend going with Fedora. Others include Ubuntu and elementaryOS, etc.
