   It was a headphone port accessory which gave you an extra programmable button.

     @popey @Edent on an Apple phone one can turn on “back tap” which makes tapping on the back of the phone be a new button. You probably already know about this, but if you don’t, it could do what the extra button would. I think you can have it run a shortcut too, which means you can do mostly anything

     @sil @popey @Edent yep, Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> Back Tap. Can set double and triple tap to do a bunch of things, including running shortcuts.

     Or just buy an iPhone 15 pro, which has a programmable side button 😁
