     @tiskaan @coolboymew the only modern isekai ive watched is seasons 1-3 of overlord, gate, and outbreak company. found the only good one to be overlord.
     
     even then shit does not compare to fushigi yugi

     @Mondobizarrro @tiskaan @coolboymew We had some really good isekai back in the day. Inmo Escaflowne (the tv series) is a fantastic exemplar of uit.

     @coolboymew @heavens_feel @tiskaan i kinda grew out of that era tbh like i dont really watch a lot of "new anime" unless it kinda interests me or ive read a bit of the manga. Typically i go for more series that has been on my ptw for a hot minute. Recently just watched dominion tank police and i really enjoyed it.
     
     I try to not be limited by whatever is new/recent that notion is kinda stupid.
