  @picandor @coolboymew true story I pronounced poutine wrong in a quebec mcdonalds as a kid and got a very concerned look in response from the girl behind the counter. A few minutes later an awkward consultation with my french teacher taught me that I had been especially impolite. Turns out the phrase poontang comes from a french word.
