     @Xeraser @TopBep thig is, Valve has a monopoly because they brought in improvements in an area (PC games purchases) and they provide a good service that people want to use.
     Epic is trying to force a monopoly by outright buying developers to publish games in Epic Game Store with a 1 year exclusivity.
     
     Honestly, I try to use stores other than Steam. Mainly GOG, because I like their politics of "no DRM" even if it facilitates piracy, so I tend to support devs that sell games there, but unfortunately the experience of using GOG library and store is night and day compared to Steam. And the same happens with EGS.
     
     People don't want a Valve monopoly on the games market? Then just deliver a better service than them.
