I agree with you up to here, but here only partially. Yes, the domestic agenda barrels on. But the seams look like they're starting to come off on the post-WW2 order. This may or may not mean a new cold war, a new hot war, or something else entirely, but part of me suspects part of the reason why this is coming out now is precisely because the LOC is slowly but inexorably moving to Kiev

The real power behind the scenes gets everything they really care about, the conservatives can be roped back into the system with a "win," they get a little red meat, a conservatard state (yeah, I know) has their big guy get neutered by going to the big show. The libtards get re-energized with a loss to a scary religious conservative who has moved the needle on a few things... slightly... in his state and they will probably get antifa and BLM back up and running

Garland going straight to a special counsel is rather significant and the prosecutor is a trump apointed korean who prosecuted the base and that coast gaurd gun boomer. I think its a pretty big deal and an effective DOJ coup.

A Putin successor is going to be very interesting as there is this situation where you have lots of “lieutenants” having a bit of a proving ground in Ukraine.
