   head injuries are no joke, if you don't detect a brain bleed and get it treated right away you go to sleep and just don't wake up
   
   I remember an example of that from EMT training, some reporter got knocked over *in snow* and bonked her head, seemed fine, died in her hotel room that night

     It's incredible how much abuse the human body can take sometimes but then like "you fell two feet and hit your head slightly weird so you died"
