     @famardy @coolboymew No, they're significantly worse than the 3DS games - Forced EXP Share destroys the any semblance of challenge, the story and writing is dogshit (AZ's backstory in X/Y alone is a hundred times better than anything in S/S), the Wild Area is like the shittiest "open world" ever, and of course, the Pokedex is effectively SMALLER than in any of the 3DS games.

     @coolboymew @famardy You can definitely switch Pokemon in and out of your team outside of the Pokemon Center. Some of that other stuff I consider QoL improvements, but others just further dumb the series down.

     @coolboymew Honestly Sw/Sh DLC was super dogshit imo and Violet was too boring from what I played. I’m probably not even going to bother with these ones even if reviews were good. I really regret buying the base game.
