@arstechnica no excuse for not paying attention. The bridge could have been washed out hours before.
@arstechnica It happened to me with the Uber app; it directed me to drive on the sidewalk across the golf course instead of the main roads.

@arstechnica I’ve tried twice to correct Google maps for the place I live. They have refused the fix both times. I fixed it on Open Street Maps myself…
@arstechnica It's no good blaming a navigation system. That driver, yes it's sad that he died, should have been looking where he was going. If that's the bridge, it's a pretty big collapsed one. He's to blame, no one else.
