   There are lots of ways individuals can find people to follow which don't depend on server size or follow numbers: https://fedi.tips/how-do-i-find-accounts-to-follow-on-mastodon-and-the-fediverse-how-do-i-find-my-friends/

   Groups and directories are especially good methods.

   Server admins can add relays, especially Fedibuzz relays which are based on specific hashtags or server:

     @utzer @feditips @mooklepticon that's my issue with this. Unless a person follows lots of people or is on a large server they see very little.
