     @Murray_N Dune. I remember when it came out. I was about 15. I was an avid reader, but I never had an interest in it. I read it a couple of days ago. I think it is amazing, even prescient.
     Of course, I checked the movie, directed by David Lynch. It's terrible, cheesy, inartful, styleless. Still worth watching, just to get a dramatic representation. While different, I think it is almost equal to Lord of the Rings
