@cadey I'm sure I can get at least one biblical scholar to confirm that the Bible says you shouldn't make a God tulpa

"But I can only do that because I’ve approached learning to hear God with… let’s not say obsession, but with intention. Because 3 hours a day isn’t crazy! It’s on the extreme end of reasonable. I stayed in college, did all the normal person things; I just had a intense hobby."
This sounds a lot like the old process for tulpamancy, specifically way back in the FAQ_Man / Irish_ hour counting eras of understanding. Specifically, the biggest number from that era is the claim that you need 100 hours of effort to make a tulpa.
In the thread, the pastor cites 1000 hours:
"1) You need 1000 hours of intentional prayer to hear Gods voice well; and"
"2) the first hour of prayer every day doesn’t count towards that goal. For the first hour, you’re just shaking the dust off; all the good stuff comes after."
Yeeeeeep that really does sound like those older tulpamancy guides, namely:
"This all took me a total of 130 hours: over the course of 2.5 months, 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week."
[...]
"Your intervals of tulpaforcing (this is the umbrella term for sitting down and visualizing / creating your tulpa) should be no less than a half hour or else you won't get into the deep phase of concentration needed to really be productive."This lead me to xeet the following tweets:
"Man, wasn't tulpamancy said to take only 100 hours at first? How are we in a world where talking to god takes more effort than summoning a twilight sparkle tulpa to help you with your math homework."
"There was an argument made to me that it takes pastors 1000 hours of training due to the technique and framework being better in the tulpamancy side of things, but I don't know if it's 99+% reduction in time spent good."
"I mean yeah the modern method of tulpamancy has refined all the hard edges down a lot through simple axioms like:
"Yeah she can hear you and think for herself, you'll learn to hear her soon enough"
This has drastically reduced the time-to-first-word in most newcomers."
Whereas with older FAQ_Man methods or likely the prayer method that the OP of the thread is using, it probably takes that long for the other presence to assert itself unambiguously enough to be consciously noticeable.
This takes a while, turns out the ego is strong, etc.
I mean, this is coming from someone who had such a godform in their youth due to over-literal interpretation of the statement "form a personal relationship with God" so take this all as you will.
The kinda insidious part about such godforms is that they end up keeping people trapped in the faith even after they want to start leaving. It's hard to deny God's existence when He follows your every step for very understandable reasons.
The most amusing part was this reply:
"Yeah, the relationship paradigm is a good one. How do you build a good relationship? Time and attention. What you do with that time and attention varies across relationships, but the time and attention—they remain the same."
That combination of time and attention is basically what makes the endogenic plural process happen my dude. Writers get it too.
Hell, in his autobiography "I am Spock", Lenoard Nimoy said that Spock had "taken on a life of his own" as a result of the kind of acting that Nimoy was doing in order to portray the character better. I bet that was some kind of plurality too!
Make whatever conclusions you want from this post.

Woke: make a God tulpa whose sources can be "I am the source"
