     Seriously though, you're very lucky Biden got elected in 2020. Only *after* the social democrat left fought a pitched battle over Democrat policy, against the Clintonists who screwed Bernie in 2016 and handed Agent Orange the Presidency.

     @strypey @icedquinn @condret the cost of healthcare really only got outrageous when Obama tried to "fix" it.
     
     Also Americans eat like shit for the most part so not a huge surprise if we end up with higher morbidity for things that are exacerbated by poor physical fitness (most things) even if we did socialize medicine.

     1) The US is one of the few developed countries with a privatised health system

     2) The US spends more on health care per capita than any other country

     3) The US has the worst health outcomes of any developed country
