To be honest, What I learned about this war is that the whole NATO doctrine should be put into question.

US in this war is hilarious, they won't cede a single thing to Russia, they just act as if there's 20 billion Russians on the front and the Ukis are just brilliantly slaughtering their way though Russians, only slowed down by the ocean of corpses.
Contrast that with WW2 where the US had plenty of sense to learn from the Germans to the point where they outright copied the V1 rocket and had the nukes/soviet-war declaration not happened, would probably have built more than Germany ever did for the invasion of Japan.
