     @Flick I fed them to the rabbit. I did find a pesto recipe but I didn't have the capacity to try and make it and I figured he'd appreciate it. Is carrot top pesto good? Maybe next time I'll give it a go.

     @Flick it's funny because I always thought pesto was specifically a basil thing. I've only ever made it once. I also have arugula (rocket) and mustard greens that might make good pesto. I'm also in the process of making some ginger vinegar which might be a good flavor addition.

     @thatguyoverthere I know @TinyHouse4Life raves about sun-dried tomato pesto. I tend to make it when I get a reduced (because short-dated) bag of $LeafyHerbs, to stretch out the shelf-life.

     Rocket makes good pesto, I dare say mustard greens would too.

     Oh, and I usually use sunflower seeds, because pine nuts are bloody expensive!

     @Flick @TinyHouse4Life I have about 50 lbs of almonds I could use, but I also have a bunch of sunflowers that are near ready to harvest.
     
     I assumed the sun dried tomatoes were added to basil. Is the tomato taking the place of greens or just being added?

     This is the recipe I used. Although I did skip the pine nuts and I sundried my tomatoes fresh. Then I froze individual 1/4 cups servings

     @Flick so I used this to make some pesto using almonds, mustard greens and arugula and used that to make a pasta salad with the ribs tonight. Came out amazing
