     I think about my family when doing chores. When I spy a gimpy chicken and go to grab the hatchet off the wall, I think back 3 generations with gratitude, knowing that granddad would have had to weigh the decision carefully 150 years ago. They created a base that allows me to do the stuff they did as a hobby, it’s no skin off my back when I put down a gimpy bird, for them it was painful waste
