Fabio Manganiello (blacklight@social.platypush.tech)'s status on Friday, 15-Sep-2023 19:50:02 JST Fabio Manganiello Another day in the despicable life of an evil company.
You tell people that they can turn off location tracking, but you keep tracking them even if they said that they don't want to.
You pay a ridiculously tiny $93M fine (#Google literally makes that money in half a day) for tracking millions against their consent while lying to them (while a private citizen who tracks people against their consent while lying to them would end up in JAIL), and you aren't even forced to comply with your own policies - most likely "being more transparent about data collection policies" means "just remove the disable location tracking option", not "keep it and stick to what it actually means".
This irredeemable parasite of our industry with no added value deserves to die and be mourned by nobody.
