@nixCraft I was using Whatsapp back when it cost a dollar a year. Before Facebook owned them. Few years ago when they wanted to merge account data, i deleted WhatsApp and moved to [Signal](https://signal.org/)
@nixCraft no one needs WhatsApp. Signal and telegram are an improvement over WhatsApp. Getting enough people to switch would take a coordinated educational/outreach campaign, which is not something that people are apt to do unfortunately.
