I was gonna say I called it, but these things aren’t nearly as timed-out as I thought. Guess that goes to show just how little the euros actually fly their planes. 8,000 came and went for ours years ago, they don’t have much problem if they want to run them up another 5,000 hours since the USAF already did the “research” to extend the hour limitation.
I wouldn’t write off the F-16s from dutch-land just yet. All it takes is some pinching from the biden admin and they’ll miraculously go from “aging, end of life” planes to “plenty of use left in them!”
