Being honest that Nintendo Direct was pretty weak/mid tier. I really thought Sony's state of play would have a shot at wowing people compared to it but Sony finds another way to just fuck expectations into the dirt.
-
Did anything stand out at all? I didn't watch it.
-
It was just announcements of things already out there. Resident Evil 4 VR, more Spiderman 2 info, some Tales of Arise DLC. Nothing really jumped out.

Tales is a fine game. I was just expecting Sony to start showing some actual next gen games. I know the pandemic and supply chain and work from home shit fucked a lot of companies up for the start of this generation but by now there should be some truly next gen shit to start previewing but it feels like every State of Play or show we get is stuff that's already been out for a while now or known. I have a really bad feeling that both Xbox and Playstation won't start showing actual shit till the end of 2024 and by then it'll be marketed for their "pro" version consoles.

Tales of Arise was really good gameplay-wise. Idk if you've dipped into those at all but this one stood way out over the others in the series. Story is interesting too but the gameplay steals the show.

@Goalkeeper @ChristiJunior @Jim @William_The_Dragonborn that's so fucking retarded
-
@mischievoustomato @Jim @William_The_Dragonborn Forspoken has sold well in the UK btw, in case you wanted more proof of Britbong gamers having the worst taste ever.
-
They also shackled a numbered FF game to a fucking dead console :hue:
-
@William_The_Dragonborn @ChristiJunior @Jim I MOVED THAT WITH MY FRICKEN MINDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
-
@Jim Nintendo at their worst is better than modern Sony at their best.
-
Squenix just lost 2 billion.
-
They got pissy because as soon as they said PS5 people were like "So when's the PC port" lmao. They expected players to buy a whole fucking console to play it.
-
@William_The_Dragonborn @ChristiJunior @Jim good
I hope they loose more with dq12
