   @icedquinn @mangeurdenuage and for me, and the very clear reason was "getting you to have plans is what school is for".
   
   The decline of public schooling is so rapid that even older siblings, even older siblings still in public school, are made into boomers - unable to comprehend just how bad it's gotten in their wake.
