     IDK if they have beefier axles, or even through-axles. Everything I see is QR, the inner hub just mates up to the frame or shock. I used to ride with a dude who was 220 lbs and he was rocking an XC bike downhill, only 5” of travel but he’d gotten years out of it sans major parts breakage. No bent rim, either. But that was an Al frame.

     I been struggling with merely getting in good enough shape to ride a bike, been all summer sweating like a nigger in a watermelon patch just to lose 40 pounds or so. I can at least get around on a scooter so, that's pretty good compared to hoofing it around. I hope to be in a decent range of weight by next year, hopefully my lower lumbar disks don't tweak out more.

     I been eyeballing one of them fat tire mountain bikes, even in my best very lean shape I fucked up axles on the offset bearing shafts of regular bikes. Also, the scooter ain't a hover round, just a 7" wheel razor scooter I found on the curb with a free for the taking sign on it.
