   Mask mandate resistance idea:

   You can't get in much trouble for appearing without a mask somewhere where they demand it, if no one has SPOKEN to you yet.

   1. NEVER wear a mask anywhere, to start with (unless you're sick or there's smoke, etc.).
   2. When asked verbally, comply with a silent stare. (Or argue if that gives you a dopamine hit.)

   They can't verbally ask everyone, everywhere, every time.

   Think of this as the unprosecuted shoplifting of anti-masking.

     Also, so many facilities around me left "mask required" signs up for months or years after the facility personally stopped enforcing it.

     So I have learned that a "mask required" sign doesn't have meaning.

     I did that starting right after everyone had their first round of shots. Doctors office, dentist, hospital…
     Only at the hospital did anyone say something, but usually not. Oh, and at a ice cream joint in Austin TX and I just turned around and walked out.
     A comeback that sometimes worked: “Wearing a mask gives me anxiety. Do I really have to?”

     @progo I just go "no thanks" and continue about my business. Got kicked out of several shops for this. Never been back, of course.

     @Zerglingman I got a dirty stare from a shopkeeper behind glass, and a verbal "don't you have a mask? why aren't you wearing a mask?" … not one text sign anywhere about it.

     @Zerglingman I think for "lets retard the babies' communications skills, part 2" I'm going to reply to requests with neutral-toned "I don't need it", and if they start to argue I'll put on a mask without speaking any further.

     Or leave if I have other options.

     I'm not going to argue or get fully religious about it. I don't have the energy for the rage.
