   Can anyone explain why Trump’s retention of classified documents constitutes a serious crime, if not outright treason, which should bar Trump forever from holding public office, while Biden’s retention of classified documents is benign and without consequence?

     As far as I'm aware, the document stuff is total made up BS to gotcha Trump. IIRC there was a case a long time ago, and it was ruled that ultimately the President has the power to declassify document. As far as I'm aware, the president, not the vice president. So their little Trump gotcha might backfire
     
     Also remember that it was totes okay for Biden threaten to withhold aid for Ukraine in exchange of firing that prosecutor was it? when Biden was VP (and caught gloating about it on tape), but when Trump did it for investigation, it wasn't okay
     
     It was A-Okay for the FBI to collude with the democrat for the Russia Trump hoax, but it wasn't okay for Trump to investigate legitimate possible corruption with Biden/Hunter in Ukraine
     
     The hypocrisy from the establishment is staggering

     @coolboymew @SeaRobb i knew about the rest but not the biden vp thing. that is correct the president can declassify anything but the vice president cannot. i doubt biden will be punished for this because of course he won't.
