     @deprecated_ii @rher What if it's your sister getting beaten? What if it's your daughter? Your wife? What if it's you? Should I walk by and not do anything just because you're a stranger to me? I've got family, too. If we can't reach an agreement where we protect our own people in public when we can, regardless of what we do or don't know about them, then we're just going to get fucking genocided. We can't do this bullshit where we think solely about ourselves and our own situation.
     
     And there's no guarantee you'd go to prison anyway. It's not illegal. Hell, if you're really so deeply terrified of prison time, just flee after you've helped. Doing nothing is just objectively immoral. I remember when we used to deride other races for this sort of shit.

     No, it wasn't. You can't just dismiss the intent of the act and claim it's something it very obviously wasn't. The Jan. 6th participants weren't fascists in any sense whatsoever. They're not even latent fascists or crypto fascists. This is a cope, and a foolish one. I know it's comfortable to project our own worldviews onto the broader masses, but it's counterproductive to do so.
     
     Also, and more importantly: It's not illegal to step in and help someone who's being assaulted. It simply is not. I would happily do jail time for any one of you if it meant keeping some nigger from beating the shit out of you or a member of your family, and I'd expect the same from you.
