     @Koropokkur Actually I haven't played an RPG where you can spec mana capacity separate from mana regen in a long time. I kinda want to again, I think it's just a fun thing to have in a game.

     solo mage was always oom after an even lvl battle. if there was an add, you had better save a bit for gate.

     That was a more common thing in the early mmo days, right? I remember having a character in a few games where I had huge mana regen with a tiny mana pool. Regen would be tied to like some stat that also affected health regen or something. Made a battle mage with just a few points of int to boost my mana pool.

     I like when class is just the starting skill and stat range and the rest of the stuff is up to the player. Path of Exile did a quality modern version of this where they give you skill branches and nodes instead of letting totally ignorant new players accidentally spec str on their wizard.

     @MK2boogaloo @Koropokkur @BowsacNoodle The thing is that I don't actually want a successor to Diablo in the first place; I didn't actually enjoy it all that much.
     I might give it a look, bug me about it on a Tuesday or something for best effect, but I already predict my conclusion will be "this should have been more like SWAT, like Din's Curse is".
