     I realize the FSE side of Fedi likes to shit on Gleason, and fair enough. Soapbox has its problems.
     
     When's the last time P, or anyone else in his friend group, built anything for the Fediverse?
     
     Literally all he does is write joke MRF's that make everyone's experience worse. His one supposed contribution is Revolver, and there is not a shred of evidence that Revolver actually exists, at least not the way it was pitched.
     
     Yet somehow, he still has a cult following. I don't get it at all.

     @opphunter88 actually @p sent me and my wife a limited copy of Revolver. It's not PERFECT but it has a really strong foundation and the things it can already do, it does incredibly well. We signed an NDA so I think this is all I can really say

     You can't rush quality.

     @p has helped so many instances rise from the ashes due to db rot, or pleroma just having terrible db management in earlier versions.
     
     whinge.town was saved thanks to p providing a load of help that he didnt really have to. I never really used FSE as my primary instance, but he was always happy to give me tidbits of information about how to get my shit running again. There aren't many people on the internet that would provide that level of help
     
     he also stopped a pile on by a bunch of poasties calling me a newfag and trying to drum up support for a dos attack. Forever greatful for that, since at the time, my server was hosted on my home network (retardedly, contains my livelihood and income)
     
     p has done alot to earn my respect and trust. He could have just said "sucks to suck nigga" and left my instance to die. But he didn't. I'm not going to de-legitimize people that have had issues with p, and im not going to pretend he is perfect, but I figured a small writeup to why I have alot of respect for him was something your post was asking for.
     
     Again, I DO NOT want to start a fucking flame war. I love everyone across fedi. sjw, moon, graf, p, gleason, neetzsche. I just wish we'd keep politics out of our code, and put them into our posts
