@sharutiaburaddofouren The same faggots who freaked out about every single slightly iffy aspect of the Prequel trilogy stubbornly ignored countless gaping plotholes and retarded character behavior in the Disney movies. Then again, I guess they're just sheep - they bashed the Prequels when that was the safe opinion, praised the Sequels when that was the safe opinion, and now that the tide has turned against the Sequels, they're now starting to bash them as well.

@RyokoPilled @ChristiJunior I was actually watching Phantom Menace with mutuals and the setup for the movie is cool but man we spent the majority of the runtime picking apart the politics, lucas really needed some people to tell him no back then because the skeleton for the prequels is really good but in no way did he flesh it out and the way he wrote the actual material required it to be written very well. It's a political thriller with sabotage and espionage from a genius manipulator using volatile and complex governments and he just sort of distilled it down to a cursory overview of US politics. Makes you wonder how incredible those movies could have been. People would probably be saying that the prequel movies were some of the most intelligent films ever made as well as fun, star wars nerds would be making fun of trekkies nonstop for being pseudointellectual instead of saying that star wars isn't really supposed to be high brow lol

@ChristiJunior @sharutiaburaddofouren both sucked but at least the prequels had good ideas behind it that other writers/directors that are actually competent were able to spin into good media

@ChristiJunior they did this with avatar recently. They look stupid because they said it was the worst movie ever made and many in the general public have gone to see it multiple times. From all accounts I've heard it's just good old fashioned movie blockbuster retardation with a kinda gay save the whales propaganda but it doesn't lecture, and people are enjoying it. So bluechecks and other faggots have quietly averted their attention away. As I said before, the movie is probably a 4/10 retarded vs these faggots who praise literal 1/10 fag propaganda, if you even think about it for a fraction of a second the entire universe caves in on itself with amateur level mistakes and laziness, movies
