     @coolboymew I know a lot of(all?) eggs in the US are washed which can make them unsafe to eat raw, but I know quite a lot of people that are fine with raw eggs here and in Europe :zt_think:

     Now that I'm back in the USA, I always cook them before eating them.

     @heavens_feel @coolboymew Yeah that's fair. In the UK/EU, washing eggs that are to be sold is illegal, as washing them creates a way for bacteria to get inside.
     I'd assume it's the same in Japan.
