     @useless_idiot @TheBigLoder @coolboymew coyotes are pack hunters. Wolves usually hunt alone. Coyotes try to lure prey into an ambush by sending in a shithead and waiting for him to bring lunch back.

     @BowsacNoodle @SlicerDicer @TheBigLoder @useless_idiot @coolboymew :shrug: there are a few hunters that do it, but they might be the only one doing it for sport. The fox mating call sometimes sounds like a woman in the woods, and then there is a mountain cat (I can't recall which) that also seems to do it (even more realistic which is terrifying).

     Like how house cats are just small lions? Or maybe coyotes are just large foxes? Same family of Canidae, yes.

     A coyote is 20-50 lbs. A large wolf is 120 lbs. Bit of a difference there.
