@lain Tasers don't need anything but a basic electric circuit without any microcode-based logic, I believe. Chromium's source code is open. -

@lain They legitimately should go after proprietary software that puts people in jail without being able to question it, like breathalyzer software. LS likes this. -

@lain I think the difference is that people are forced to install and use tax software. Whether the NSA uses "freeSPY+", or "proprietarySPY" won't affect most people. LS likes this. -

@lain a taser is an appliance, so RMS is okay with people getting tasered with proprietary software as long as one cannot change it. -
