   To my religious members. I see where my sister, PG_Chrys, was questioning why GOD or Jesus would let all of these bad things happen to her. She had faith. She asked a good question. One that I could not explain in a way she could understand. I still feel she followed the word of the bible but didn't interpret it correctly.

   Does that make any sense?

     @PG_Kelly Yes. The lives of the apostles did not all end painlessly and of course our Savior suffered. "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." - Matt. 5:44-45

     Freedom from "bad" things occurring is not one of the promises God makes to Christians. IMO, it is a better life regardless.

     @HiroProtagonist @PG_Kelly The Christian life is about finding meaning and even joy in life's sufferings. It's never easy, but our sufferings can teach us to cherish the good in our lives.
