     @alex @opphunter88 @lamp At the very least they could've disabled the always failing signed fetch check so that the rest of fedi can fetch posts from there even if they won't see it on their side.

     @opphunter88 @lamp I pushed federation extremely hard. At a point I just started saying the word "federation" constantly to make a point.
     
     "You know what would fix that? Federation."
     "Now that we did that other thing, maybe next we can add federation."
     "How bout that federation?"
     "I think we should do the thing Mastodon was designed to do, which is federate."
     "Federation! Amirite?!"
     
     I pitched it multiple times. I even got a bunch of people to agree with me. But it still never happened, I'll let you decide why.
