     kfc? yeah. no good. its not lab grown but the birds are genetically engineered from stable cell lines before they're born and are basically the same bird every time, modified to grow in uniform scale so they fit on specific hooks, are a specific weight, dimensions, density of breast tissues, etc.
     
     its a big ugly rabbit hole you really dont want to crawl into.

     @modpod @dave @DocScranton I raised Cornish crosses once which aren't modified per se but are selected genetic freaks. I won't do that again. I'd rather just wait a few extra weeks to harvest a normal chicken.
