     The most worth it as it looks is the extra story one, everything else looks optional as fuck (didn't buy any)

     @coldacid the drop changes on some items according to the tools. I don't remember how to upgrade your gathering stars with a tool in 1, but that unlocks a second or third item it can give you

     @coolboymew sure maybe for the single-drop objects, but then why do the multi-drop objects (trees etc.) always have different drops whenever I hit 'em?

     @coldacid I don't particularly remember what triggers it. I think you just need to complete as much circles levels as much as possible and it goes up with it. So the more higher quality and endgame ingredients, the more they're worth, the more you can complete circles and the more shit you can put, the what you make will be worth
     
     The game is basically a reverse pyramid, you can't do shit in the beginning but it keeps gradually opening up

     @coldacid oh yeah, the fishing rod is annoying because you need that one particular tree you mostly won't encounter for long

     @coolboymew also it's very annoying how long I had to play before I had the stuff I needed to make a fishing rod. I still can't make a hammer either because nowhere open to me has one material I need, same for bug net -- but I have the recipes for them?!
