   It's not my place to comment on other projects, but as the only recipient of the @pixelfed open collective, I'm glad this is a solo project

   Yeah I have an obvious conflict of interest as the sole person who can approve expenses

   But at the same time, I'm the only one who writes code for Pixelfed, FediDB, fediverse.info and the dozen other projects in our ecosystem

   I realize how lucky I am, and am so thankful for all the support ❤️

     @pixelfed I can't take all the credit though, we've had a few PRs from people, and countless feedback from people across the fediverse

     One thing I really love about my project management style is that I've made accountability and honesty priorities, even when it can be uncomfortable for me

     Being able to respond to criticism or negative feedback in a respectful and productive way is crucial

     Encouraging y'all to hold me accountable, as you have, means a lot to me

     Pixelfed isn't mine, it's ours
